Dhow Cruise in Dubai

When in Dubai, you should not miss the Dhow Cruise. 

Dhow is  a traditional sailing vessel of UAE  with one or more masts with lateen sails .

Dhow cruise is a lavish cruise starting  from and returning to Deira   after  a round through the creek. Fruit juice, snacks /dinner is served along with soothing music during the trip.   Tanura dance show and BBQ Buffet dinner are  also included in some trips. The duration of trips are from one hour to three hours. 

 Many elegantly decorated dhows are there to do the trip .

We went in a winter afternoon when seagulls and some other stray birds had been  happily flying over the water . 

These birds come to Dubai and whole UAE every winter. Not only on the creek, they also  fly over the roads  and often land to sit down on the road and roadside grass area. when a flock of birds sit on the road,  the cars stop, drivers wait ,  nobody disturb them, they fly away after sometimes and vehicles start to move.

The creek water and the sky  were  becoming pink with the setting ray of the sun.

When evening was approaching, Dhows were illuminated with strings of small lights.

We met some other dhows  those were passing by.


There is sitting arrangement on the deck and inside the cabin with sofas and tables. You look through the glass window to enjoy the beauty of Dubai creek.
